Our Story

How Nikit Orphanage became a beacon of hope for vulnerable children

Our Journey

From Humble Beginnings

2005

Founded with Just 5 Children

Nikit Orphanage began in a small rented house with five orphaned children, founded by Mrs. Anika Patel who saw the need for quality care for abandoned children in the community.

2010

First Permanent Home

Thanks to generous donors, we purchased our first property and expanded to care for 25 children, adding classrooms and a small medical clinic.

2015

Education Program Launched

We established our formal education program, hiring certified teachers and providing schooling not just for our children but also for 50 vulnerable children from the surrounding community.

2020

Campus Expansion

Our facilities grew to include three family-style homes, a dedicated education center, computer lab, and sports facilities serving over 100 children annually.

Present

A Bright Future

Today, Nikit Orphanage provides comprehensive care for 142 children with 89 dedicated staff members, and has facilitated 326 successful adoptions.
